Plan Review and Update
Having developed an initial set of plans and emergency responses is but the first step in ensuring business continuity in your organisation. In the course of a year, the external events and internal organisational changes may render the original assessments and plans incomplete, irrelevant, and some times total unusable. GMH assists organisations structure and plan for yearly review of their risks, critical business functions, and facilitate the update of business continuity strategies and plans to align with present business realities.
Testing and Exercising
Congratulations! You have now an updated set of business continuity plans. The next step is to make sure these plans are implementable and effective. GMH assists clients plan and conduct tests and exercises to uncover strengths and weaknesses in organisational BC plans, increase BCM capabilities and competencies amongst staff and management, and offer opportunities for improving or enhancing existing plans. The scenarios developed will be consistent with the client’s BC plan and identified potential threats. The simulated scenarios and incidents will be practical and realistic; thus, providing a “real-life” simulation in line with the client’s scope of business continuity planning. Our clients often engaged us to develop complete suite of test and exercise programmes that will progressively enhance the organisation’s disaster preparedness.
